- Set up a RenWeb parent & a RenWen student account.
- Check the Graduation requirements list to create a plan out the academic classes you need to graduate on time.
September:
- Create a testing/college email account that both parents and students know the user name/password. (Use this when registering for PSAT,ACT, etc., college or scholarship applications, FAFSA & any other financial aid application.)

- Schedule 1-2 job shadowing locations or volunteering during fall break.
November:
- Schedule 1-2 job shadowing locations or volunteering during Christmas break.
March:
- Schedule 1-2 job shadowing locations or volunteering during spring break.

- Read about Governor's School summer programs (IE: teaching, arts, sciences, humanties, etc.) and begin application process. (This takes a few weeks to complete and programs have different deadlines. Governor School for the Arts is usually the first deadline.
September:
- Schedule 1-2 job shadowing locations or volunteering during fall break.
November:
- Schedule 1-2 job shadowing locations or volunteering during Christmas break.
January-February:
- Apply to summer programs/camps.
March:
- Schedule 1-2 job shadowing locations or volunteering during spring break.
March/April:
- Take Pre-ACT
May: Take AP tests
11th Grade

- Register for PSAT test. This is similar to a “practice” SAT test. Very high scoring students are strongly encouraged to take to be eligible for the Nation Merit Scholarship.

- Schedule 1-2 job shadowing locations or volunteering during fall break.
- Mid-October: Take PSAT test (8:20, usually on a Tuesday in October.)
October/November:
- Read about Governor's School summer programs (IE: teaching, arts, sciences, humanties, etc.) and begin application process. (This takes a few weeks to complete and programs have different deadlines. Governor School for the Arts is usually the first deadline.

- Schedule 1-2 job shadowing locations or volunteering during Christmas break.

- Book some of the more popular photographers in town for Senior pictures.

- Schedule 1-2 job shadowing locations or volunteering during spring break.

- Schedule LifeTrouch photo session for yearbook picture.

October, November & December:
- Primarily the months for most college applications. (The admission application must be complete before you can apply to the colleges' scholarships!)
November:
- Schedule 1-2 job shadowing locations or volunteering during Christmas break.
January 31:
- Senior Formals deadline
Jan-May:
- Pay Housing deposits for college (deadline are school-specific)
March-May:
- Choose Fall semester classes for college (Registration window is school-specific)
March:
- Schedule 1-2 job shadowing locations or volunteering during spring break.
March/April:
- The final financial information (from FAFSA, scholarships, grants, etc.) will come in.
May 1:
- National Decision Day to notify colleges of students' choice to the schools.
