WHY might you take this test
- The chances of being eligible for a semi-finalist for the scholarship: Less than .25% of Juniors, nationwide, qualify as a semi-finalist.
- Students who score in the top 95th percentile on standardized tests are highly recommended to take take this test since they may qualify for the extremely competitive "National Merit Scholarship".
WHO can take it:
- 11th graders who tend to score extremely high on standardized tests
- To be a finalist, not only do you have to score very high but also have a history of exceptional academic standing, community service hours, extracurricular activities, leadership skills & employment.
