Job Shadowing
- During winter/summer breaks or Spring/Fall break, we highly recommend students spend a half-day/all-day job shadowing with family, friends or anyone who is willing to let them shadow.
- It's a great way to help students see what types of jobs they may be interested in pursuing. They may even learn from this experience that they may NOT like the job, which is GOOD to know before they get a college degree in it!
- Doing volunteer work in high school is another way to get exposure to potential career fields.
