9th & 10th Grades: Pre-ACT (practice ACT) & AP (if enrolled in AP level classes)
11th Grade: An official ACT, PSAT (optional, practice SAT test), & AP (if enrolled)
9th - 12th Grades: AP (if enrolled)

- In May of each year, students may opt to take AP tests.
- Depending on the college and if you score a 4-5 out of 5, you may be exempt from taking that class Freshman year; however, this is NOT a guarantee. You would have to check with the college to see if they award college credits.
- The tests require a lot of preparation and extra studying outside of regular classwork during the school year. If you are up for the challenge, sign up!

- NDHS will register students for the AP exam. No action required by students or parents.

- Ask your AP teachers for their extra support and/or study sessions to help prepare.

- A lot of preparation is required to pass & there are many resources available (practice books, apps, Khan Academy, etc.) available. You can also search the internet to find more and are highly recommended besides JUST using the class textbook.
